     All hyper links having 4 properties they are Link, Visited, Hover and Active.

Link :-
   This will decided the how to display the link in normal state.

eg:

a:link
{
  text-decoration:none;
  color:red;
}

Visited:-
    After visited that link , this style will apply.

a:visited
{
  text-decoration: underline;
  color:blue;
}

Hover:-
    When the user mouse over the link, this defined style will apply.

a:hover
{
  color:blue;
  background:red;
}

Active:-
    If this link is in active state this style will apply .

a:active
{
  background:yellow;
  color:black;
}
